Entry fee $60 per tournament. 100% of the entry fee will be paid out for each tournament. Each tournament will also contribute money to the point fund. $10 of each entry will be added to the BIG FISH payout and $50 of each entry will be added to the BIG 3 payout. Entry Forms and complete rules will be available a little later in the year at this site, as well as the registration table for each tournament at the associated Captain’s Meeting.
3 ways to win: Big Fish, Big 3 Fish and Challenge Series Point Fund for year Entry Fee: Entry fee $60 per tournament. 100% of the entry fee will be paid out for each tournament. Each tournament will also contribute money to the point fund. $10 of each entry will be added to the BIG FISH payout and $50 of each entry will be added to the BIG 3 payout. Rules: You must be entered into the host tournament and follow host tournament rules to be eligible in the Southwest Lake Michigan Series. Big Fish Scoring: The largest fish will be awarded the prize, regardless of species. Big 3 Scoring: Each boat can weigh up to 3 fish. Points will be awarded at 20 points per species and 1 point per pound. 24 ft and Under Division: A $100 Cabela’s gift card will be awarded to the boat with a length of 24ft or under that has the largest Big 3 scoring. If the boat received either the Big Fish or Big 3 prizes, the boat will not be eligible for this prize. In this case, the prize will be awarded to the next place finisher that is eligible. Series Point Total: Scoring for each leg of the Series will be determined by adding the score from the Big 3 Fish Score. A total of 100 points is possible for each tournament. The top boat in for each tournament will receive 100 points. The second place boat will receive 99 points and decrease by 1 point for every place thereafter. Points will be accumulated for each tournament and the overall winner will be determined by total points of the best 3 out of the 6 legs to be paid out at end of season.
